Smartwatch software development for Portuguese Air Force and Samsung
The special edition of the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Portuguese Air Force (FAP), is the first edition in the world of a smartwatch associated with military aeronautics, a medium with historical links to watchmaking and technology.
More than just providing a watch with a unique capability to celebrate the 65th anniversary of this branch of the Armed Forces, Samsung Portugal wanted to fly even higher by adding to the Samsung Gear S3 an official FAP dial. This dial, developed by us in Portugal, is based on the specifications transmitted by FAP pilot-aviators belonging to combat and air defense squadrons, instruction, transport, surveillance, and even search and rescue.
